A Marketing Strategist from NYC

Experienced Marketing Professional with a strong focus on digital marketing and a BBA in Marketing Management from CUNY Baruch College/Zicklin School of Business. Possessing a Minor in Black and Latino Studies, I bring a unique perspective and cultural awareness to my work.

Currently serving as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant at Massage Envy, I proactively educate clients on the benefits of massage and facial therapy, resulting in a perfect customer rating and increased client retention. With efficient handling of over 40 customer calls per day, I provide prompt responses and effectively transfer calls to the correct departments. I demonstrate strong administrative skills by managing opening and closing procedures, reconciling cash drawers, and maintaining accurate sales records. Additionally, I maintain a professional and efficient work environment, ensuring smooth daily business operations.

As a former Sales Coordinator at ZARA, I showcased my strong product knowledge by staying up-to-date with new and trending products, ensuring the sales floor remained in line with current fashion trends. I excelled in a multitasking role, cross-training for both register and stock room responsibilities, contributing to a productive and friendly work environment. By exceeding sales targets through effective product promotion and sales techniques, I consistently drove revenue. Furthermore, I demonstrated my organizational skills by efficiently organizing stockroom inventory and applying accurate pricing and tagging to merchandise. I also conducted regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory counts and implemented security measures.

During my internship at Cognizant, I conducted thorough online research on insurance company trends, staying informed about industry developments and advancements. Additionally, I actively participated in a mentorship program, gaining practical skills in FRM technology and marketing tactics. Through the implementation of email marketing strategies, I successfully reached out to potential leads, effectively communicating the company's services and generating new business opportunities.

As a Service Project Administrative Assistant at NYCID, I efficiently scheduled and coordinated meetings, prepared comprehensive agendas, and collected and organized data for reference or analysis. I handled general office duties, including promptly responding to inquiries and maintaining filing systems.

Outside of work, I am actively involved in various organizations. Within the CUNY Baruch WICC, I have held multiple executive board positions and most recently serving as President. This experience has honed my multitasking and time management skills while managing multiple events. As a member of CUNY Baruch NABA, I contributed to the marketing team, designing promotional materials and implementing effective strategies to increase social media following. Additionally, I have been an active member of the CUNY Baruch Undergraduate Student Government, planning and organizing student events that encourage engagement and collaboration.

In recognition of my achievements, I was honored as a Carnegie Mellon TLH Scholar, receiving a scholarship that empowers young Black student scholars in Black and Latino Studies. I also participated in the WiTNY Summer Guild, enhancing my coding skills with a focus on CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

With proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, EventBrite, and MailChimp, I possess strong computer skills. Additionally, my intermediate fluency in Spanish adds to my ability to communicate effectively. I have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments. Furthermore, I am known for my effective communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities. I am experienced in using inventory management systems and operating cash registers.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I have diverse interests including music, weightlifting, fashion, beauty, and staying informed about current events through platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Overall, I am a results-driven marketing professional with a proven track record of success in digital marketing, administrative support, sales coordination, and project management. I bring a combination of creativity, cultural awareness, and strong organizational skills to deliver impactful marketing strategies and drive business growth.
